I am a 30 year old Ph.D candidate in Political Science, majoring in Russian & Central Asian politics. I was born in New Zealand of Baltic-British descent, and was educated at the University of Auckland after spending some years in the UK. My interests are extremely varied but must include travel, drinking, good food, alternative music, politics (of course!), ethnic origins, writing, the internet, relaxation, science, and harsh humour.
